BloomPulse Eye Serum Review
Sometimes the products we buy just to hold us over end up earning a permanent place in our skincare routines.
That is exactly what happened with the BloomPulse Under Eye Cream with Retinol Caffeine Ginseng Revive Eye Serum I ordered from Amazon.
My local Ulta is closed for remodeling, so I picked up a couple of inexpensive products to use until it reopens. I wasn’t expecting to discover a new favorite—but this eye serum surprised me.
The biggest difference? My under-eye bags looked almost completely gone after using it. The improvement is temporary, but as someone who regularly deals with eye bags and dark circles, I’ll take it.
BloomPulse also claims its retinol-containing formula helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time, with product before-and-after photos showing results after 28 days. Those are the brand’s claims; my results so far are the temporary improvement in puffiness.

Why I Tried BloomPulse Eye Serum
Check Current Price (Normally $14.99)
This purchase started as a practical solution. My usual store was temporarily closed, and I wanted an affordable eye product to hold me over.
I regularly have both dark circles and under-eye bags, so those are concerns I pay attention to when trying something new. I wasn’t expecting an inexpensive Amazon purchase to become something I would keep using after Ulta reopened.
But that is where I am with this one.
The Texture: A Lotion and Gel Mixed Together
Although BloomPulse calls this a serum, the texture isn’t thin or watery.
It is somewhat thick, with a consistency that feels like a lotion and a gel mixed together. That cream-gel texture is one of the things I like about it.
If you prefer an eye product with a little more substance than a runny serum, this may appeal to you. The word “serum” doesn’t always tell you exactly how a product will feel, and this one has more body than I expected.
The Metal Roller Ball Is Part of the Appeal
BloomPulse has a metal roller-ball applicator that you use to apply the product to your under-eye area.
For me, the applicator is a standout feature. It adds a gentle massage element, and I feel it contributes to the depuffing effect I notice.
I can’t tell you how much of my result comes from the roller versus the formula. What I can say is that using them together has worked very well for me.
A light touch is enough around the eyes. There is no need to press hard or repeatedly pull at delicate under-eye skin.
My Results: My Eye Bags Looked Almost Completely Gone

This is what turned a backup purchase into a product I want to keep.
After using BloomPulse, the appearance of my eye bags improved enough that they looked almost completely gone to me.
That is my personal observation, rather than a measured clinical result, but it was a noticeable difference.
I also want to be clear about what I mean: the improvement is temporary. I am not saying this serum permanently removed my eye bags or changed the underlying structure of my under-eye area.
But a temporary improvement still has value.
When eye bags are something you deal with regularly, finding an affordable product that makes them look much less noticeable can be a welcome addition to your routine. I don’t need every skincare purchase to deliver a permanent transformation to appreciate what it does.
Does It Help Dark Circles?
Although I have both dark circles and eye bags, the reduction in the appearance of my bags is the result that stands out most.
I wouldn’t claim this product completely erased my dark circles. My recommendation comes primarily from the depuffing improvement I actually noticed.
Although it doesn’t completely remove my dark circles, it makes them look less noticeable by reducing the puffiness beneath my eyes. With smaller eye bags casting less of a shadow, my under-eye area looks brighter and more refreshed.
That distinction matters. Dark circles and puffiness are different concerns, and a product that helps one may not give you the same improvement in the other.

What About Retinol, Caffeine and Ginseng?
The product name highlights three familiar skincare ingredients, but their names alone don’t tell us their concentrations or prove how the finished formula performs.
Caffeine: Relevant to Temporary Depuffing
Caffeine can temporarily improve the appearance of some under-eye puffiness. Cleveland Clinic explains that its effects can fade and that caffeine won’t correct eye bags caused by structural or genetic factors. That makes it a plausible contributor to a temporary improvement, but it doesn’t prove which part of this serum produced my result. health.clevelandclinic.org
Retinol: Something to Introduce Carefully
Retinol is a separate consideration from temporary depuffing. It can irritate skin, especially sensitive skin, so using more product or applying it more frequently isn’t automatically better. Follow the directions on your packaging and pay attention to how your skin responds. aad.org
Ginseng: Part of the Product’s Ingredient Story
Ginseng is another ingredient highlighted in the product name. I wouldn’t single it out as the reason my eye bags looked better without evidence for this particular formula.
My experience tells me that the product worked well for the appearance of my puffiness. It doesn’t tell me which individual ingredient deserves the credit.
What I Like About It
For me, the strongest points are:
- Affordability: I bought it as an inexpensive substitute.
- Texture: I like the lotion-meets-gel consistency.
- Applicator: The metal roller ball is a useful part of the experience.
- Visible results: It temporarily made my eye bags look much less noticeable.
The main limitation is that the improvement doesn’t last permanently. Results will also vary from person to person.
Before adding a new eye product to your routine, test a small area first. Stop using it if you develop irritation, and keep the formula out of your eyes. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends testing new skincare products before regular use. aad.org
Would I Buy BloomPulse Again?
Yes—this is one I plan to keep using.
I ordered it to hold me over while my local Ulta was closed. It ended up earning a place in my routine because it made a noticeable difference in the appearance of my eye bags.
It isn’t a permanent fix, and I’m not promising everyone will have the same experience. But for an affordable product I bought without particularly high expectations, I’m pleased with what it does.
My eye bags looked almost completely gone temporarily—and honestly, I’ll take it.
